The Sunshine State

Hello Everyone! Todays post is based on liquid lipsticks...These are having a moment right now! I know there are many different ones avaliable from the Kylie Jenner Lip Kits to the Kat Von D ones ... B ut for us in the UK both these are very difficult to get hold of, however the Stila St ay All Day Liquid Lipsticks on the other hand are a lot easier to get.   I have got 3 of these to swatch for you, all of them are from the 'nude' category but all of them really do differ in shade.  Fir st up is 'Patina' this is the darkest of all the shades I ' m swatching . In colour it comes up as a mid-toned mauve pink. All of the liquid lipsticks have a slight caramel smell to them but this goes pretty fast. I really like Patina on the lips it makes them look fuller and plump. Even though its qui te dark you can wear this shade anytime and I think it would look lovely on all skin tones. N ext up is the shade 'Dolce' if you look closely in the tube...

After reading a few posts about the Kevyn Aucoin lipsticks I decided to bite the bullet (anyone else get the lipstick pun there?!)  After looking through the variety of colours on offer I couldn't choose between three so typically got them all! ...More swatches for you guys! The first one I really wanted was so different in colour from my usual pink/coral/orange lipsticks. But after seeing a picture on the Internet a girl wearing it, it just looked so damn good! Queue ROSERIN - Described on the packaging as a 'plum rose'. A very apt description I would say.  Up next is SIREEDAN - described as a 'peachy nude', again bang on with the description. This is a perfect lipstick for day to day wear as it's that 'your lips but better' colour. And lastly, but definitely not least, is MICAVEL - a 'creamy coral'. So true, this is a very light coral/apricot colour and is great if your getting into oranges or corals. This is a very good colour to star...

I'm taking my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick virginity and went for a recommendation from Amelia Liana from Youtube and bought 'Love Liberty' from the matte revolution collection, and i must say this is a lovely lipstick, its very comfortable on the lips and stay in place very well, especially as this is a dark lipstick its got a good staying power. I'm not usually a fan of darker lipstick but this still remains quite pinky? It's not too in your face dark red which is great if your not too sure about going to the dark side.  However I really like the formulation of this lipstick and I would definitly go back and get a nude becuase its just a lovely lipstick, and guys the packaging of this lipstick is just lush and old hollywood glamour! Gorgeous! I recommend this lipstick to anyone!
