A RE-DISCOVERY! UNA BRENNAN - FIRMING NEROLI OIL

Image
So I was curiously looking through my bathroom cabinet that is filled with a lot of products that I don't use anymore, but I'm not quite there to throwing them out...If you don't live in England then you may want to know winter is upon us. It's cold and windy and raining, and my skin does not like it one bit! My face is dry and de-hydrated so I have been searching online for an oil, to really help with my dry skin, but I was looking in my cabinet and found the Una Brennan - Firming Neroli Oil. I know I'm only 21, and don't need 'firming' products quite just yet but I remember buying it because it has rosehip oil in it, which I was quite obsessed with at the time. I though 'hey, it's already here, let's give it another go'...and so I did. I'm very glad I did becuase this stuff is amazing! It's quite unusual as you work it onto dry skin and leave it a couple of minuets and then get a damp cloth and wipe the remainder off. But the fe...

PRODUCT REVIEW - BRAVURA LONDON GLYCOLIC ACID AND SALICYLIC ACID

Image
So this is a whole new concept of skincare to me! Anything that is described as 'acid' sounds terrfying to me, like it's going to burn your face off, so I've always stayed clear! However recently my skin has been wreaking havoc and so I wanted something to keep it in check.  I saw on Facebook that a lot of celebrities were raving about this company called Bravura London, something I hadn't heard of before. I was intrigued and so decided to do some detective work and read comments and reviews on their products and most of it was good, so I decided to buy some. I think the prices of these are very reasonable at around £10 per bottle.  I got two different acids, the first 'Glycolic Acid 10%' which is suppose to help with pigmentation, dark spots, sun damage etc...I have quite a lot of dark marks left over from spots that just don't seem to fade. I have just used this a few times and it's quite ridiculous that I can see a difference in my skin already...

UPDATED - SKIN CARE ROUTINE

So recently, I feel as though I have found my perfect skin care routine...my skin is looking so much better than it ever has, so I wanted to update you on the products I have been using. Okay so first off I use FACE WIPES...Just to get as much product off my face as possible, bare in mind this does not get half of the make-up off your face! I use any face wipes beause most seem to work ok with my skin, but if you do have sensative skin, opt for wipes that cater to your need. Once I have done this, every other day I use my CLARISONIC PRO to really clean my skin. This is a brush head that 'pulses' and really gets into pores. I love my Clarasonic and feel that it really works. I use the brush with my OLE HENRICKSEN RED AFRICAN TEA CLEANSING FOAM. Again, I love this product also and after using both my skin is soft and deeply cleaned. If I don't use the first step I will use my BODY SHOP CAMOMILE SILKY CLEANSING OIL. I use about two pumps on a cotton wool pad and use this...

SKIN CARE ROUTINE

Image
Hi, So today I wanted to talk skin care and what products I use and also my routine... First of all, I use face wipes just to get all the make-up left 'sitting' on my skin off. I just use Morrisons own brand becuase I'm really not that fussed about face wipes as I use them quickly, so I want them to be cheap! Next off I go to the sink and use my Clarasonic Plus which really deep cleans. I use this with either my Malin and Goetz Grapefruit cleanser or my Ole Henriksen African Red Tea cleanser, both are fabulous are really cleaning skin but don't damage or irratate me. I then just use wash off my face with warm water and dab my face dry with a towel. I then head for my Korres Pomegranate Tonic, or to you and me, 'toner', dab some on a cotton wool pad and sweep across my face. I let this sink in and dry and then continue on with the rest of my routine.    Now this next bit depends on how well my skin is behaving, If im having a spotty day...
