PRODUCT REVIEW - BECCA SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR (PRESSED POWDER) MOONSTONE AND ROSE GOLD

Image
So, if you have read my blog before you will know that I absolutely love the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors in liquid form. They are to die for!  I really wanted to invest in the powders also, I choose two colours, Moonstone and Rose Gold. These two colours are at opposite ends of the spectrum so hopefully you get a good idea of the colours. Moonstone is a silvery white gold highlight, this looks beautiful when it catches the light, I take these on my Sigma F35 tapered highlighter brush and apply to the high points of my face, eg. tops of cheekbones, nose, cupids bow, forehead.  Rose Gold is a much warmer highlight, from it's name you guessed it it's a pinky gold colour, again this is beautiful and would look great on warmer skin tones.

PRODUCT REVIEW - HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING PALETTE

Image
Now the Hourglass ambient lighting collection has been hugely popular with celebritys to make-up artists, to people like you and me. The give you just such a lovely glow about you, and are a dream to work with. I think the best way to go if you haven't bought a single one of these is to get the three in one palette which is awesome because you get three shades to test out at quite a reasonable price. I love using this palette and it is now a firm favourite in my everyday make-up routine. The packaging is sleek, coming in a dark brown imitation metal case and is easy to travel with.   BELOW ARE PICTURES TAKEN OF THE PALLETT     AND SWATCHED ON THE SKIN   IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT  INDOORS

It's probably my favourite make-up brand, and I find that everything I buy from them, I end up loving, from blushers, to highlighters, to eyeshadows! So starting off with my blushers. I currently have 5 NARS blushers... The first ever NARS product I bought was Deep throat. This is a pink shade with flecks of gold running through it. This is almsot identical to the next product on my blush list which is... Orgasm. This blush has more of a pinky/coral colour to it and it's very vivid, think of this as the sister to Deep Throat. Next up is Liberte. This blush is more on the redder side of the spectrum, at first look this product is matt, however upon closer inspection it has tiny, tiny speckles of gold in it, but hardly noticable.  And last but no means least is Taj Mahal. I was skeptical about buying this, but it keeps catching my eye, so i bit the bullet and bou...
