The Sunshine State

Now I know that the Ombre Blackstar's are expensive retailing at £28 per shadow stick, but I know they are lovely. But if they aren't in your price range don't get sad becuase I've found the dupe of it...The Stardust eye cream shadow by Jemma Kidd - I've come across them on Amazon and Ebay for from £3.50 to about £10. Way cheaper than the By Terry Ombre Blackstars but still just as beautiful. The colour that I have got are 07 Galaxy and 05 Aurora... Left to right is By Terry 4 bronze moon and 8 Paradise Island, then Jemma Kidd 07 Galaxy and 05 Aurora. I think these are pretty awesome dupes for the By Terry shadow sticks and they definitly feel more expensive than they are. They have lovely pink packaging and are small enough to take on trips with you which is ideal. They have a good lasting power on the lids too.

If you saw my previous blog post on the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadows you would see that I wanted to originally get 'Misty Rock' and 'Bronze Moon' however when I went on Space NK, they were out of stock (cries!) however I did get them a few weeks back and I said I would do swatches, sorry they are so late but it's better than never! So here they are... (Bronze Moon on the left and Misty Rock on the right) These are super pigmented and very shimmery and simply look gorgeous on!  I have never know another eye product to last so long, even swatching them on my hand it took a good scrub to get the product off! These retail at £28, not cheap but so worth the money in my opinion!  In terms of colour Bronze Moon is a almost a bronze/gold/brown shade and Misty Rock is a pinky/mauve colour. So last week I went browsing on the Space NK website. One of my favourite stores! And they had on a discount code when you spent £40 or more. So obviously I had to buy something! I had been looking into the By Terry Cover Expert as lots of people have been saying how amazing this foundation is, so I looked at swatches and read up on it, and decided to go for No. 4 Rosy Beige. This colour is a perfect match for my skin as I have more of a pink undertone to my skin rather than yellow. This covers flaws, and also makes you skin glow and look beautiful. I think I might be in love!
