DECORATING - ROOM ACCESSORIES

Image
Hi guys, In todays post I am talking about decorating rooms and accessories. I am going to include some of of the things around my house that I love! I hope that this blog inspires you to paint/decorate and have fun fun changing things up!   This is my 'Evil eye'. This is from Turkey and I think anything like this adds character to a room.   This is my hlaf inspiration board and the other half as you can see is a whiteboard, currently I have written up a "To Do" list. Things like this are good for showing off your personality and you can display things nicely and organised on here.   This is my light and I absolutely love it! I think its quirky and its a bit of a statement piece!   When I was younger I used to collect stones/gems and I found these a fw weeks back so I have decided to display them just on a plate and they just add something cool to a room. So if you collect anything, display it!   I love my lanterns, as you will see when

D.I.Y - POST IT NOTES FOR MAKE-UP!

Image
Hey Guys,  So if you struggle with doing a perfect winged cat eye with liner? Or getting that dramatic smokey eye that not too "over done". Then post it notes are going to be your new best friends! You can literally get these almost anywhere, but the ones that I am using I got from Ryemans, which cost around £4.00. How to? Pull out a strip from the pack, and place the clear end just at the end of your eye and have it facing to a slight degree, aim for the end of your eyebrow. Like so....   Then apply your eyeliner or shadow like you normally would, and then peel off the post-it notes and see your perfect line appear! As you can see a clear defined line and just to show you the left over that would of gone on the eye if I haden't of used these. These are just so fast to put on and it takes two seconds to do the wing so if your in a rush these are fab! Also please don't try and use scel

PRODUCT REVIEW - BY TERRY OMBRE BLACKSTAR EYESHADOWS + COVER EXPERT FOUNDATION

Image
So last week I went browsing on the Space NK website. One of my favourite stores! And they had on a discount code when you spent £40 or more. So obviously I had to buy something! I had been looking into the By Terry Cover Expert as lots of people have been saying how amazing this foundation is, so I looked at swatches and read up on it, and decided to go for No. 4 Rosy Beige. This colour is a perfect match for my skin as I have more of a pink undertone to my skin rather than yellow. This covers flaws, and also makes you skin glow and look beautiful. I think I might be in love! This is on the more expensive side at £45, but I would say that this foundation is well worth the money!   By Terry Cover Expert in "Rosy Beige"       "Rosy Beige" swatch of colour                        The next two items the By Terry Ombre Blackstar Eyeshadows . My heart sunk a little when the two colours that I originally wanted "Misty Rock" and "Bronze Moon

MY NARS COLLECTION

Image
Hey guys, this post is going to be about my NARS collection...(so far!) I absolutely love NARS! It's probably my favourite make-up brand, and I find that everything I buy from them, I end up loving, from blushers, to highlighters, to eyeshadows! So starting off with my blushers. I currently have 5 NARS blushers... The first ever NARS product I bought was Deep throat. This is a pink shade with flecks of gold running through it. This is almsot identical to the next product on my blush list which is... Orgasm. This blush has more of a pinky/coral colour to it and it's very vivid, think of this as the sister to Deep Throat. Next up is Liberte. This blush is more on the redder side of the spectrum, at first look this product is matt, however upon closer inspection it has tiny, tiny speckles of gold in it, but hardly noticable.  And last but no means least is Taj Mahal. I was skeptical about buying this, but it keeps catching my eye, so i bit the bullet and bou
