PRODUCT REVIEW - JEMMA KIDD


Now this is the Gemma Kidd, cheek palette in the colour 01 Soft Peach/Beige. The look matte, but upon closer inspection they have the slightest hint of shimmer. The first colour is a warm rosy pink and to the right of that is a peachy skin colour. These are quite pigmented and have a good lasting power.

Next up is the face palette 'Dewy Glow, all over radiance creme in 01 Iced Gold. Now Im going to admit it, I wasen't a huge fan of this product when I first got it, but now after testing it out and finding the best way to apply it, i have come to love it. I think the best way to apply this because its a creme highlighter is to use what we got, our fingers! They warm the product up and makes it easy to apply. In terms of colour it leaves a soft peach colour with not what i would call a shimmer but rather a glow.


 This is my favourite Gemma Kidd product and its the eye wardrobe palette in Plum Quartet, it includes a highlight, accent colour, a define colour and a mid colour. The perfect palette. These shadows are milled very fine and a dream to apply, they blend with ease and give a great smoky plum eye.


This is the eye crushed jewel creme duo in 03 Imperial Topaz. Im loving this right now. In the top part that flips open is the creme eyeshadow, this is super pigmented and is kind of a coppery/brown colour. Then if you unscrew the bottom you get this gorgeous glitter that is kind of pinky/gold. These together look stunning!





Lastly is the i-Sculpt shadow and liner in 02 Carnaby St. The liner of this product is very good and great to smudge, this is in a brown and the shadow that comes with a smudger is great for on the go. Unfourtunatly my photos of the product magically dissapeared so I have no shots of the product swatched but this is a good product. Trust me!

If you saw my previous blog post on the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadows you would see that I wanted to originally get 'Misty Rock' and 'Bronze Moon' however when I went on Space NK, they were out of stock (cries!) however I did get them a few weeks back and I said I would do swatches, sorry they are so late but it's better than never! So here they are... (Bronze Moon on the left and Misty Rock on the right) These are super pigmented and very shimmery and simply look gorgeous on!  I have never know another eye product to last so long, even swatching them on my hand it took a good scrub to get the product off! These retail at £28, not cheap but so worth the money in my opinion!  In terms of colour Bronze Moon is a almost a bronze/gold/brown shade and Misty Rock is a pinky/mauve colour. PRODUCT REVIEW - MAX FACTOR COLOUR ELIXIR LIP LINERS

These have become my favourite drug store lip liners! Max Factor has come out with a pretty great shade range from nudes to pinks to browns to reds! Horaay! I have found these last a good 5 hours plus and the don't dry your lips out like some liners can...These are easily sharpened and last a long while (ie. use) My favourite colour is Pink Petal, which is a nudey pink, like a 'your lips but better' colour (It looks completely a different colour in these photos by the way!) I have also found that Red Rush last ages and doesn't bleed and it matches most of my red lipsticks (winner!) I would say that these aren't the cheapest drug store lip liners, retailing at £4.99. The texture of these it great, they are quite creamy and sit on the lips very comfortably and the pigmentation of these are very good. At some reviews I have looked at said they loved the product but when comes to sharpening it, it breaks...this has not been an issue for me personally, so make sure yo

PRODUCT REVIEW - KEVYN AUCOIN EXPERT LIP COLOURS IN SIREEDAN, ROSERIN AND MICAVEL

After reading a few posts about the Kevyn Aucoin lipsticks I decided to bite the bullet (anyone else get the lipstick pun there?!)  After looking through the variety of colours on offer I couldn't choose between three so typically got them all! ...More swatches for you guys! The first one I really wanted was so different in colour from my usual pink/coral/orange lipsticks. But after seeing a picture on the Internet a girl wearing it, it just looked so damn good! Queue ROSERIN - Described on the packaging as a 'plum rose'. A very apt description I would say.  Up next is SIREEDAN - described as a 'peachy nude', again bang on with the description. This is a perfect lipstick for day to day wear as it's that 'your lips but better' colour. And lastly, but definitely not least, is MICAVEL - a 'creamy coral'. So true, this is a very light coral/apricot colour and is great if your getting into oranges or corals. This is a very good colour to star
