IN RIGHT NOW - CREAM EYESHADOW STICKS

There is all lot of talk surrounding stick eyeshadows at the moment. They range in price and quality...

I really like cream shadow sticks as they are so quick and easy to use and really fool proof if you are new to using them.
If you are in a rush then shadow sticks are great to use as you can just swipe them on for a great colour pay-off and go!





Some of my favourites are the iconic By Terry Ombre blackstars, which I have wrote previous posts on, (check them out!) but I wanted to swatch all of the colours that I own together.
These products have a ridiculous staying power! The longevity of this product is un-challenged! (Just check out the picture above!)

Next up is the Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Colour stick, the colour I have is Pink Opal. This is a really nice shade, it's very light, almost like a highlighter colour, it does have shimmer in it. On the lids it looks like a 'gloss' I personally really like this look. The texture is very creamy, however it doesn't last as long as the By Terry Ombre Blackstar.

Again I have done a dupe blog for the Ombre Blackstars and these are the Jemma Kidd Stardust Creme Eye Shadows. I really like these and they are really affordable. (Look on Ebay!) They are small in size but the colour pay off is great and they are very travel handy. I have the colours Aurora and Galaxy.

I recently picked up the By Terry Aqua-Print Eyeshadow is the colour Peach Tornado.This is a very similar texture and colour pay off as the Ombre Blackstars, and they are waterproof which is great, especially in the summer months!

 Also I have the Nars Eyeshadow stick in Celebrate, I bought a white dress recently and thought this would look great under the eyes with beachy hair for a cool, un-done summer look.

PRODUCT REVIEW - BY TERRY OMBRE BLACKSTAR MISTY ROCK AND BRONZE MOON (UPDATED)

If you saw my previous blog post on the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadows you would see that I wanted to originally get 'Misty Rock' and 'Bronze Moon' however when I went on Space NK, they were out of stock (cries!) however I did get them a few weeks back and I said I would do swatches, sorry they are so late but it's better than never! So here they are... (Bronze Moon on the left and Misty Rock on the right) These are super pigmented and very shimmery and simply look gorgeous on!  I have never know another eye product to last so long, even swatching them on my hand it took a good scrub to get the product off! These retail at £28, not cheap but so worth the money in my opinion!  In terms of colour Bronze Moon is a almost a bronze/gold/brown shade and Misty Rock is a pinky/mauve colour. PRODUCT REVIEW - MAX FACTOR COLOUR ELIXIR LIP LINERS

These have become my favourite drug store lip liners! Max Factor has come out with a pretty great shade range from nudes to pinks to browns to reds! Horaay! I have found these last a good 5 hours plus and the don't dry your lips out like some liners can...These are easily sharpened and last a long while (ie. use) My favourite colour is Pink Petal, which is a nudey pink, like a 'your lips but better' colour (It looks completely a different colour in these photos by the way!) I have also found that Red Rush last ages and doesn't bleed and it matches most of my red lipsticks (winner!) I would say that these aren't the cheapest drug store lip liners, retailing at £4.99. The texture of these it great, they are quite creamy and sit on the lips very comfortably and the pigmentation of these are very good. At some reviews I have looked at said they loved the product but when comes to sharpening it, it breaks...this has not been an issue for me personally, so make sure yo

PRODUCT REVIEW - KEVYN AUCOIN EXPERT LIP COLOURS IN SIREEDAN, ROSERIN AND MICAVEL

After reading a few posts about the Kevyn Aucoin lipsticks I decided to bite the bullet (anyone else get the lipstick pun there?!)  After looking through the variety of colours on offer I couldn't choose between three so typically got them all! ...More swatches for you guys! The first one I really wanted was so different in colour from my usual pink/coral/orange lipsticks. But after seeing a picture on the Internet a girl wearing it, it just looked so damn good! Queue ROSERIN - Described on the packaging as a 'plum rose'. A very apt description I would say.  Up next is SIREEDAN - described as a 'peachy nude', again bang on with the description. This is a perfect lipstick for day to day wear as it's that 'your lips but better' colour. And lastly, but definitely not least, is MICAVEL - a 'creamy coral'. So true, this is a very light coral/apricot colour and is great if your getting into oranges or corals. This is a very good colour to star
