PRODUCT REVIEW - CHARLOTTE TILBURY MATTE REVOLUTION LIPSTICK IN LOVE LIBERTY

Image
I'm taking my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick virginity and went for a recommendation from Amelia Liana from Youtube and bought 'Love Liberty' from the matte revolution collection, and i must say this is a lovely lipstick, its very comfortable on the lips and stay in place very well, especially as this is a dark lipstick its got a good staying power. I'm not usually a fan of darker lipstick but this still remains quite pinky? It's not too in your face dark red which is great if your not too sure about going to the dark side.  However I really like the formulation of this lipstick and I would definitly go back and get a nude becuase its just a lovely lipstick, and guys the packaging of this lipstick is just lush and old hollywood glamour! Gorgeous! I recommend this lipstick to anyone!

PRODUCT REVIEW - CLARINS INSTANT LIGHT NATURAL LIP PERFECTOR 04 PETAL SHIMMER AND LIP BALM PERFECTOR IN 01 ROSE

Image
Now anyone who knows me will know that I do not like lip glosses, there too messy, they get in my hair when a gust of wind comes. Just no.  However I looked at this and it just looked intriguing, so I went ahead and got the colour 04 Petal Shimmer. I would like to point out that despite the name there is no shimmer in these products. The funny thing was that I actually really liked this product it wasn't tacky and sticky. It half skins into the lips, half stays on them, but they are more like a balm than a gloss. I must also say that it does have a scent to it, but when on the lips you cannot smell the product. But if you do like nice smelling things this is lovely, kind of like caramel. Yummy! The shade I got was more pink that I usually go for, but it just looked so nice I went for 04 Petal Shimmer, this is like a slightly pink version of your lips. These aren't massivly pigmented but you can see a slight colour on the lips. I really like these! If you don't lik

PRODUCT REVIEW - BY TERRY EYESHADOWS IN 7 VENETIAN BROWN AND 103 CREME BRULEE

Image
These are without a doubt the most creamy, softest eyeshadows I have ever encountered. They blend like a dream and are a make-up lovers fantasy. Okay now I've got that out, on to the colours...I have: 7 Venetian Brown - a brown infused with gold and some slight peachy tones. (very multi-tonal). Ugh. So pretty! 13 Creme Brulee - a peachy/champagne colour that is the ultimate highlighter, but looks just as nice swept over the lid. These are so finely milled and so buttery. They are gorgeous. They are high-end but in my opinion so worth the price!

PRODUCT REVIEW - LAURA MERCIER PETITE BAKED EYE COLOUR BONBONS - AMETHYST TRIO

Image
When I first got this product I didn't particularly like it. Purple tones scared me and I thought I would end up looking like someone drew crayola all over my eyes. But in the past couple of weeks I've been feeling more adventurous and have been wearing this under my lower lash line for a pop of colour. The actual product comes with three shades of purple. The lightest Soft Amethyst is a quite light, so its great for the inner corner of the eye as a highlight. Next up in the middle is Lilac, described on point, a lilac with some shimmer throughout. And lastly comes Violet Sky, the darkest of the three, a very intese rich violet. These look great together or worn on their  own.

PRODUCT REVIEW - NARS SATIN LIP PENCIL IN TIMANFAYA AND VELVET MATTE LIP PENCIL IN BOLERO

Image
Now these things changed the game! What a brilliant idea to make a lip pencil but not just for lining those lips, but to fill them in - plus there so handy to travel with as they weigh nothing! I love these, the formula stay on your lips for an age and they give you bold colours too. The shade range is great, and plus you can choose from satin pencils, to matte and so on! Great variety! Thumbs up! The first pencil I bought a while back and that was Bolero, this is a matte pencil. It's a great coral/light pink shade that looks great on all skin tones. This is great for day time as its wearable but gives you some injection of colour too. Then I got Timanfaya and I think I fell in love. An orangey bright red satin lip pencil. Whats not to love?! The colour is to die for and you can apply this really lightly for a wash of colour or if your feeling bold apply this fully and rock the red lip!

PRODUCT REVIEW - YSL ROUGE VOLUPTE 01 NUDE BEIGE AND 13 PEACH PASSION

Image
First off the packaging of these is damn gorgeous! Gold with the logo - high end and luxury screams at you! Moving on to the actual product its self. I think that they have a great colour range from darks to nudes and everything in between.  01 Nude Being is more of a your lips but pinker shade. Beautiful on very fair girls I would say. This does look more pink on the lips 13 Peach Passion is a pinky peach colour, this one is a little less wearable for myself as it doesn't look too good with my fair skin tone, but on darker skin tones this would look beautiful. Also note that although these two colours look similar on the skin swatched. Peach Passion is much more of a coral. My only down side to these lipsticks is that I find them quite drying and found that they don't last long at all on my lips anyway!

PRODUCT REVIEW - DUPES FOR THE BY TERRY OMBRE BLACKSTAR

Image
Now I know that the Ombre Blackstar's are expensive retailing at £28 per shadow stick, but I know they are lovely. But if they aren't in your price range don't get sad becuase I've found the dupe of it...The Stardust eye cream shadow by Jemma Kidd - I've come across them on Amazon and Ebay for from £3.50 to about £10. Way cheaper than the By Terry Ombre Blackstars but still just as beautiful. The colour that I have got are 07 Galaxy and 05 Aurora... Left to right is By Terry 4 bronze moon and 8 Paradise Island, then Jemma Kidd 07 Galaxy and 05 Aurora. I think these are pretty awesome dupes for the By Terry shadow sticks and they definitly feel more expensive than they are. They have lovely pink packaging and are small enough to take on trips with you which is ideal. They have a good lasting power on the lids too.

FIFTEEN THINGS FOR A HAPPY LIFE

Image
I know this post is a little off topic for me, but I felt like I needed to discuss it with you guys and it's how to cope in life, especially if your around the same age as me 21. I wanted to create a list of things we should do to cope in life at this pretty stressful time... 1. Enjoy the little things  2. A good cry can make you feel so much better 3. Try to see friends at least once a week - girl time is good! 4. If you have a problem talk to someone - wether it's your mum, dad or friends - don't bottle it up. 5. Vent - If your so riled up and need to shout at someone, do - but warn them before hand 6. Try to have some time to yourself, wether its sleeping, painting, reading, watching films etc. 7. Take walks - they clear your head and if you have headphones in, pretend your in a music video - doesn't everyone do this?! 8. I'm not encouraging alcoholism here but having a night or, a night in with a few glasses of something he
